Students thrive in the RPS 205 Gifted Academy, an accelerated program where academically gifted students develop their academic, creative and critical-thinking skills.

The Gifted Academy includes many elective opportunities, clubs, and athletics to enrich the rigorous, inquiry-driven core instruction that defines our program. Learning extends beyond the classroom with field trips, partnerships and mentors, and volunteer opportunities to spark students’ curiosity.

Gifted Academy Freshman

It is recommended that students with room in their schedule register for College & Career Readiness. This course is designed to help students learn more about each academy and solidify their pathway decision. Students in the Gifted academy may also choose courses from any of the High School Academies and the pathways that are offered.

Electives

Electives may be chosen from Gifted courses or any other elective offerings at Auburn High School. This is the typical sequence of courses for a Gifted Academy student; however, there are many options for substitutions.
