The top 1,000 student artists from more than 125 Illinois high schools will come together to showcase their work at the 13th Annual Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE). These students will also compete for over $71 million in annual college scholarships.

Seven students from Auburn High School, Amya Holland, Ruth Sibounheuang-Thammavongsa, Abigail Mandujano, Jeanelly Villanueva, Collin Lester, Zephyr Farris, and Louis Raimbault, have been selected to exhibit their artwork. Each has also qualified to be considered for available college scholarships. In total, Auburn seniors have earned $1,628,000 in scholarship offers.

The exhibition will run through April 18 at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood. A public opening reception will be held on Sunday, April 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Approximately 4,000 students, teachers, college representatives, and school leaders are expected to attend. The IHSAE is the largest high school student art exhibition in Illinois and is widely recognized as one of the premier student art showcases in the nation.
