In this show, Creon defies the divine laws of burial set by Zeus. The lightning bolt showcases Creon's false belief that he, himself, is like a god, ruling with almighty power. The top two symbols represent the question "Justice, where you at?" and Antigone's search to find it

The ghost symbol is a reference to how (show spoiler!) Antigone dies in the pursuit of justice, leaving behind a long lasting societal impact

This symbol represents Creon's paranoia and fear of perception, rather than a concern for his kingdom's people. It's also a reminder to tread carefully when dealing with a power hungry tyrant

This symbol represents how Creon feels invincible, with a neverending reign of power. But at the same time, there is the reality that his power will come to end when he is inevitably overthrown

This symbol represents Antigone trying to right the injustice done to her brother. She sees wrongs done under the name of justice and works to correct them

We are in the final days before show weekend! Antigone by Sophocles runs December 4, 5, and 6! The Auburn High School Theatre Department has been working hard to get this ancient Greek play staged in modern(ish) day. It's set to be an amazing performance

RPS 205 hosted its inaugural College Fair at The Quad for all juniors and undecided seniors! More than 20 colleges and universities were on hand to share opportunities available after high school. Students from all of the RPS high schools explored exciting paths for their future!
