Auburn High School Orchestras had an opportunity to learn from Ms. Genevieve Smelser of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. Students performed & learned in a masterclass format to better their small ensemble skills. Genevieve also performed the Brahms Double Concerto with her father, Linc Smelser, with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra. RPS is grateful for the Rockford Symphony for their support!
This week, all RPS 205 high school juniors took part in College & Career Prep Week at The QUAD. Students rotated through mock interviews, resume building, financial literacy, & ACT prep sessions led by industry professionals — gaining real-world skills for life after graduation.

Due to the weather forecast for Friday January 23, 2026, all RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow. All after-school activities will be cancelled which includes boys' and girls' basketball games versus East High School. These games will be rescheduled for a later date in which we will notify parents / fans of our Knights basketball teams. Thank you for your support of Auburn Knights Athletics.

RPS 205 & Tyson teamed up to host the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich Contest. The winners each received a Nintendo Switch along with a portrait of their creations. Congratulations to Iker at Flinn, Jordan at Auburn, and Connor at Conklin! The sandwiches will be featured on the lunch menu this Spring!

We are in the final days before show weekend! Antigone by Sophocles runs December 4, 5, and 6! The Auburn High School Theatre Department has been working hard to get this ancient Greek play staged in modern(ish) day. It's set to be an amazing performance
