Screw City Steel has a new home at RPS 205! The Rockford Area Arts Council gifted the mural-covered steel doors to Auburn, East, Guilford & Jefferson High Schools. Honoring Rockford’s industrial roots, these doors now stand as symbols of pride, creativity & belonging.

Our high school Service Academy students in the Nutrition pathway ended the semester deliciously—presenting final projects with fully themed menus! From cultural cuisine to balanced meals, they showcased creativity, cooking skills, and nutrition know-how. Tasty and impressive!
BUILDING FUTURES: Today, Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity celebrated the houses built by East, Guilford & Jefferson High School construction students for families! Located off Sandy Hollow Road, these homes are the result of a year of hands-on learning in skilled trades.
The BASA Pop-Up Shop is back! After last year’s $800+ success, Auburn High School’s Business Academy Studio Art returns to Rockford Art Deli on Friday, May 16 from 5–8pm! Don’t miss this student-led showcase of local art, fashion & talent—right alongside City Market!
